CLAUDE MONET

Claude Monet was a French impressionist painter who enjoyed painting the same subject,a landscape or a cityscape, in a different time and different season of the year. Impressionists paint’s each time in the season’s. He captures the light in a moment in time.

Monet created his beautiful water garden at home in Giverny. He like the way the water was constantly changing and moving so he used it as his subject over and over again.

The famous paintings of the japanese bridge shows an arched bridge crossing over the pond that was surrounded by shrubs and trees. The pond changes colour in the day or seasons and reflects from the surface.

Robert Delaunay

Robert Delaunay was a french painter he painted with geometric shapes.He and His wife Sonia invented the orphism and the artform gallery. Robert Delaunay was a great poet writer. In his paintings he uses a lot of bright vibrant colours to describe his kind of style.

Robert Delaunay often uses the colours to pose each other to contrast the colours and make it come true and represents the geometric shapes for the objected person in his art work.

At the painting of the tall portuguese women he painted the large leafed plant painted on the left hand side he will use circles in the center to make a table like a kitchen to create the contrasting colours and different colours showing the women doing her work.

Jackson Pollock

Jackson Pollock lived in America at New York city he was a famous painter and he enjoyed his work.
Jackson Pollock was a passionate hard working man. He flicked and splatter on his artwork but I didn't recognized he was really famous . Jackson Pollock was artistically using his kind of style to paint so he can sell it.

Also he was born on January 28th 1912 and died when he was 44 years old in a car crash accident in august 11th 1956. His funeral was at the springs, New York because of that he was a very fantastic painter. He was one of the few American painters to be recognized during his lifetime. His name was Paul Jackson Pollock.

He has a lot of paintings that he sell it when he was a very famous painter. He smoked a lot and drink-ed during his painting. There was a lady called Lee Krasner it was Jackson Pollock’s wife that likes to paint as well.

First Day Of Swimming

On the first day of swimming we were doing lessons with one of the
instructors. We entered the pool safely and we had two instructors. Our instructor was called Ben he took our lessons.

Lesson one is to do your arms as a rocket ship but straight. He said, “you don’t even have to kick your legs”. I was watching my friend go first and he was kicking furiously in the pool. I felt comfortable keeping my arms where they have to go. When it was my turn he called me to go. As I was getting closer and closer he pushed me towards the end of the pool.

I was rotating around and around until I got dizzy. I couldn't breath so I took one deep breath and dived back in the rippling water. I just needed to concentrate with my legs straight without kicking.

We had our last lesson with the flutter boards. They kept me floating on the side of the pool and it made me swim fast. At the end I came back to wait for our second round.

After our second round we had a breathing competition and Texas won it. Ben told us to get out of the pool to go for a rinse in the hot shower and change back into our dry and clean uniforms. We still have two more weeks of swimming lessons I can’t wait. I had great swimming lessons with our instructor.
