[Social Studies] - "Geographical Significance Of The Amazon"

The Amazon rain forest is geographically significant to the world, and the there are numerous reasons why. Before we head off to the reasons of the Amazon rain forest, the definition of the word “Geographically” is the based on or derived from the from the physical features of an area, and in this paragraph, I will talk about the physical features of the Amazon. So first of all, the Amazon rain forest is located in the centre ring of the world called the equator, also known as the ‘Belt.’ The equator or the ‘Belt’ is the most hottest place in the world as the centre of the Earth is tilting to the Sun, which has an increase of temperature according to our Scientists and Researchers. Another reason why the Amazon rain forest is geographically significant to the world is because it’s the top largest rain forest in the world. As of many other forests, the Amazon forest is a place to find medicines for healing such as Anti-fungal, and these medicines are found in plants, in which Scientists and Researchers look for.

Another feature of the Amazon rain forest is that they have layers, as well as other rain forests. These layers are divided into four, and the first layer of the rain forest is the Emergent layer, the second layer is the Canopy, the third layer is called the Under story, and the fourth layer is known to be called the Forest Floor layer. The first layer, the Emergent layer is home to birds, butterflies, bats and small monkeys. The second layer, Canopy is home 90% of animals in the rain forest because it contains a rich source of fruits and seeds. The third layer, Under story is home to countless insects such as bees, stick insects and etc because of it’s warmth, dampness, and it also gives shelters to most animals living there. The last layer, Forest floor is the home to small, developing, or dead plants & animals. This layer is where the photosynthesis, and decomposition occurs. Decomposition is the process in which organisms such as worms, fungi, bacteria and other decomposer's break down these dead plants and animals. Once they are decomposed, they become part of the soil, and produces carbon dioxide for the rain forest.

The final reason of this paragraph of why the Amazon rain forest is geographically significant to the world is because it is home to the majority of various kinds of species, such as Harpy eagles, Orangutan's, Jaguars, Leopards, Toucans, Gorillas, Golden Lion Tamarin Monkeys, and etc.

[Science]- "Atom & Electronic Configuration"

Image result for atomsGreetings and welcome to my new blog post! Throughout this term (term 2) in Science with Mr Tyagi & Ms Smallwood, we've been learning and discussing about, "atoms" & the "electronic configuration." Mostly about atoms and what they are. I find this unit quite interesting, as it relates to things in life that we may be capable of coming upon it throughout our lives... Here is my definition of what atoms and electronic configuration are. The Structure Of An Atom & The Electronic Configuration:
Atoms are commonly known as the “basic units” of matter, in which is the structure of elements. They consist of three particles known to be, protons, neutrons & electrons. Protons and Neutrons are in the centre of an atom, which is inside the nucleus. Electrons however, are located around the nucleus, in orbits well-known to be called orbital shells or energy shells. Electronic configuration is informed by the particles of atoms, in which you are able to find in an element, example; Sodium has an Atomic Mass of 23, and an Atomic Number of 11, the electronic configuration of this element is 2,8,1.

This week in reading we have been learning how to infer a text by reading between the lines, looking for clues within the text and use your own prior knowledge and our text is about Kevlar. Phineas & Ferb

Phineas and Ferb......

One sunny morning in a hot day Phineas and Ferb were sitting under their shady tree in the backyard. “Ohh, hello boys” said mom “Hi mom” replied Phineas and Ferb. “Where are you going to day”? asked Phineas. “I will be going to the mall, and Candace your encharge”. “Yeeeee” chuckled Candace. Candace went up to her room and stared at Phineas and Ferb.
“Ferb I think what we're going to do today, Hey where’s Perry”?

Perry sneaked to a daisey, and twist the daisey and then he went down a secret place. He was under a Lab sitting on a red chair. After Perry was in the lab a face on the screen, Perry was facing and the screen  came on. “Perry” said the face on the screen, you have an important mission. “Dr. Doofenshmirtz is building evil laser that will face the world around”, “You must stop him, Agent P.

Off goes Perry with his jetpack to Doofenshmirtz Lab. Perry fell into a trap of Dr. Doofenshmirtz Lab. Perry was covered in maple syrup. The maple syrup went hard and froze agent P. “Lrrrrrdddd” Perry grineded. I will introduce to you my evililanator. It will face the world down.

When Dr. Doofenshmirtz was talking Perry melted the maple syrup with his lighter.  Perry was free, he aimed at Dr. Doofenshmirtz face and kicked him. He fell down and then stand back up. They were fighting along the evililanator and then pressed the destroy button and then blowed up. Perry ran and jumped down. He hooked up his parachute and then Doofenshmirtz yelled “Curse you perry the platypus”.

Phineas and Ferb built a roller coaster. Isabella came through the backyard and peaceful said “What you're doing”. Where building the most coolest roller coaster ever. “Wanna help”? said Phineas. “Yes I would love to help” she replied. After they were done Phineas told Isabella to put up signs for those who want’s to ride this big roller coaster. “Okay” said Isabella.

“Ohh check this out, Phineas and Ferb is building a roller coaster”said their neighbour. “Let’s go”. “Oooo, Yea, Hahaha” said Phineas and their neighbour. “This is fun” yelled Isabella.

“Your busted Phineas” mumbled Candice. “Mum” yelled,  Candice in her phone. “I will bust you” whispered Candice. Candise ran to the mall and try to find mom. Then she saw mom hanging with the teddy bear in the mall. She dragged mom and ran to the backyard. “Were here” said Candice to mom,but mom was looking somewhere else. Then when she looked where Candice wanted her to see the machine got destroyed. “What did you wanted me to look at Candice?” Bu,bb,bb,bb,bbb,bb,bbb,bb,bb. “Uppp” said mom you might swallow a fly there. “Now who want’s Pie” asked mom. “I do” said Phineas and ferb with their friends.
