Christmas Summer Vacation

Christmas Summer Vacation.

Introduction: In this story I will be writing about my christmas summer vacation and I will also explain what it felt like and what we did.

One early morning the sun was shining brightly  through my bedroom curtains making my eyes hurt. I got up and walked in the bathroom and had a quick shower. When the water hit my skin, the feeling of the water was very soothing and warm. I jumped out of the shower and got dressed into a white plain shirt some shorts since it is summer and I grabbed my sandals.

I walked downstairs and the smell of bacon and egg filled my nostrils.
I saw my mum standing in front of the stove holding a spatula and moving the frying pan around. “Morning mum” I said walking over to sit across the island table. “Good morning sweetheart, you hungry?”she asked. “Yes, I am starving,”I chirped.

She chuckled and put some bacon and a eggs on my plate and toast. “Mmm smells delicious” I said. “Now eat up and I’ll go wake up the rest because we are going on a family summer vacation” she said. I nodded and started digging into my delicious breakfast.

I looked out the window and saw people walking by, woman pushing their baby prams, people fixing roads. I was stretched at the back of the minivan.
The boot is full of full suitcases and all the spare seat has 3 small ones stacked up as well. We are on our way to the coast for the summer. Two weeks of swimming, sand and sun, paradise. It’s a 4 hour drive and we’ve been in the car for an hour and a half.

We walked in and saw a doorman. Then we walked up to the receptionist and asked for room for two and he handed us two keys. We went in the elevator and started looking for room 246 and room 247. I came around a corner and finally saw it. “I found it. I found it!” I cheered. My mum smiled and walked over to open the doors.

When I stepped into my brother and I’s room, it was breathtaking. Everything was beautiful. My brother and I were walking around looking at everything and examining the great view from up here. Our mum stepped into the room smiling. “Okay kids, how about we go to the beach and have some fun?” she asked. My brother and I  started cheering and walked out of the room.

I was building a sandcastle with my little brother. The sun was very hot, which made me thirsty. Luckily my mum went and bought us ice-creams. My favourite treat in the summer. A few minutes later we went for a swim and I started splashing water at my dad. We were all playing a lot of different games and just having fun until we had to go back to our hotel and take a shower.

Conclusion: In this story I have written what I did in my summer vacation and I have also explained how I felt in the fun adventure.

Four days of Swimming

Swimming

Last week year 5-6 students went swimming at the pools. We have our own swimming pool so we didn’t have to walk that far. It was breezy in the morning but we still had to swim. We had to go into the changing rooms to get ready into our swimming gear.

We trudged over to Mr Sommerville and he gave us instructions before we got into the pool. After that we jumped into the pools carefully then we had a little swim until Mr Sommerville blew the whistle.

The water was warm and it was comfortable. We had to get into two separate groups (boys and girls). We played a little game which was really fun and enjoyable.We had to dive and swim to get the ball, if we get the ball we will get a point.  
Mr Sommerville gave us free time to play around and have fun.
My friends and I played a lot of different games like chasing,racing,etc.

A few minutes later Mr Sommerville said it was time to go. We listened and followed instructions and got out of the pool and got changed back into our school uniforms.

Swimming was fun. We got to play a few games and we had a good time. I can’t wait to go swimming again with my friends and learn other swimming lessons.

The crash

Last wednesday on a sunny day Jamie and I went to a skateboard ramp to try out our new skateboard.

We were really happy. We decided that Carlos can come . “It will be fun” We  said. So we went to pick him up and went to the skateboard ramp and got ready to skate. Before We went to skate we saw big seaweed covering the skateboard ramp. “Oh No” said Jamie now we can’t try out our new skateboard. “No need to be sad” said Carlos. Carlos had a great idea, he thought if we can clean it up. “Hurry Hurry!!!” said Jamie. He was really exhausted. He couldn’t help himself.

“Is it finished” said Jamie. Yes replied Carlos, and Jamie was really happy so Jamie went on top and got started. Jamie was excited that he just rushed down the ramp and then dunk his head right on the corner of the ramp. Jamie screamed out loud AAAAAAAhhHHHHH!!!!. His head was cracked open. Carlos was freaking out. So he went to find his phone and called 111 and went to get the ambulance. The ambulance man said that his head is running out of blood. He said that he will get stitches and be alright. When his head was done they went home and never went skating anymore.

And they lived happily ever after. And NEVER EVER GET A NEW SKATE BOARD!!!

Three bears going on halloween

Once upon a time there lived three bears  Mother bear, father bear and baby bear that lived in an old house.  One day they decided to buy halloween costumes at the costume shop so they went to get three scary costumes. As they went they saw a little tiny pumpkin walking. “How can that pumpkin walk” said Mother bear.  “BOOH!!!” said the pumpkin and the three bears rushed across the bridge and into the costume shop. They were all terrified.

After a while they went to find some costumes to wear. Baby bear wanted a frickenstein costume that was ten  dollars. Mother bear and father bear got a vampire one which costs twenty dollars. They were excited. “Lets go to the cash register” said Father bear so off they went to buy their costumes. “That will cost thirty dollars said the cashier. “Here you go” said Mother bear. Then they went to dress up and went trick or treating. “Lets get the move on” said Mother bear.

“Knock Knock!!!” baby bear said. “Trick or treat they said” and a old man came with a bag full of tasty treats. What are they called asked baby bear? These treat are called candy cane. “Here you go” said the old man and baby bear, Mother bear and father bear grabbed a hand full. When there bags were full they went back home and ate it. “YUM YUM!!!” they said. They all enjoy the tasty yummy treat.

The Ant Army

Inside my lunch box is a apple Lasagna sandwich. It is amazing having a lunch box with delicious  meals inside. Lunch boxes are very helpful to people because it keeps your lunch fresh and tidy. My lunch box is a grey lunch box and a black handle so you can take it outside.

Jack and Jill

One day there lived Jack and Jill. They were on their way walking around the forest. They were on a mission finding bigfoot. When they were walking Jack heard a noise it was coming from the bushes. He went close to the bush and found a little bird that fell from the tree so he put the bird back into its nest and went back.

“What were you doing?” said Jill.
He answered  that he was putting a little bird back to its nest. As they were talking to each other they heard a growling sound. They realised it was bigfoot  running towards them. They started to scream and ran back.

When they were running they saw a sign that said exit. So they ran to the exit sign and hide for two minutes till bigfoot goes away. “How are we going to get that big thing” said Jack. It is going to take a while to find him around this place.  When bigfoot was gone they hurried to the bush finding some sharp materials to catch bigfoot. “LETS GO!!!” said Jill. So they went to find him. After a while Jack and Jill caught bigfoot in their trap. And then they took it to the wild where every wild animal lives. And they lived happily ever after.
